Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
